B&B Air is a leading global lessor of modern, fuel-efficient commercial jet aircraft. B&B Air is headquartered in Dublin, Ireland.
B&B Air listed on the New York Stock Exchange on September 27, 2007. Our shares trade under the ticker symbol "FLY." B&B Air has grown its fleet to 62 commercial aircraft as of November 2009. The aircraft are leased under long-term contracts to a diverse group of airlines throughout the world. B&B Air's strategy is to effectively manage its fleet and grow its portfolio through accretive acquisitions of aircraft.
B&B Air is managed and serviced by Babcock & Brown Aircraft Management ("BBAM"), the world's fourth largest aircraft leasing company with more than 25 years of experience in aircraft leasing. BBAM acts as manager of B&B Air and servicer of the aircraft portfolio under a long-term management and servicing agreement. In addition to arranging for the leasing of the fleet, BBAM assists in the acquiring and disposing of aircraft, marketeering aircraft for lease and release, collecting rents and other payments from the lessees of aircraft, monitoring maintenance, insurance and other obligations under leases, and enforcing B&B Air's rights against lessees. BBAM is a wholly owned subsidiary of Babcock & Brown.
